For more than fifty years the Greater Boston Labor Council has been the place for union leaders, activists and elected officials to come together on Labor Day. The GBLC Labor Day Breakfast is held annually at the Park Plaza Hotel in Boston to an overflow audience. With Labor Day the traditional kick off to the electoral campaign season, the breakfast generates significant media interest, which allows labor to promote its issues and organizing agenda to a wide and influential audience.
