The Legislative Committee was created out of a strategic planning process done by the Greater Boston Labor Council Executive Board. The Committee’s focus is to develop a strategic legislative agenda with focus on municipalities as well as work on Beacon Hill. Goals of the Committee include narrowing the legislative focus to increase impact and effectiveness on legislative initiatives as well as increase delegate participation in their home cities and towns by fighting for and passing local ordinances and resolutions that support working families.
