The Montvale Plaza in Stoneham will once again be the venue for the Greater Boston Labor Council’s 4th annual ‘Salute to Municipal Officeholders’. The event will be held on the evening of Wednesday November 14th.

This years honorees are Joseph Curtatone, the Mayor of Somerville and Patricia Armstrong, the GBLC’s Vice-President from the Boston Teachers Union. In addition special recognition will be given to Cambridge City Councilors Anthony Galluccio and Michael Sullivan who will be leaving the council at the end of the year. Galluccio will be moving on to the State Senate and Sullivan was elected Clerk of Courts for Middlesex County in November of 2006.

Information on the ad book, which accompanies the dinner and ticket information, has been sent to all GBLC affiliates. The dinner has become a signature event for the GBLC since its inception in 2004. Scores of municipal lawmakers including mayors, city councilors and selectman have attended past dinners providing tremendous networking opportunities for labor with influential municipal leaders.
