GBLC Endorses 29 Candidates for Municipal Office

On the evening of Tuesday, August 4th, the Greater Boston Labor Council held its endorsement meeting for municipal office.  Over 100 delegates representing 50 GBLC member unions attended, and at the end of the night, 29 municipal candidates from 8 cities had received our endorsement.  We urge our member unions to support these candidates.  Many critically important issues including collective bargaining, economic development, and public education are dealt with on the municipal level.  Labor needs allies throughout Greater Boston, and these candidates constitute an outstanding group of friends.
