CHARLES CHIEPPO (“Radical views of NLRB appointee,’’ Op-ed, April 1) holds the extremist opinions of a mercenary for a host of anti-worker, right-wing organizations. Republican administrations have routinely appointed individuals to the National Labor Relations Board with lengthy records of hostility to unions. Craig Becker’s appointment demonstrates that the Obama administration understands that collective bargaining and the right to organize are fundamental to the economic and social well being of our nation.
